There has been an evident trend of singaporeans donning precription oakleys and having white designer ear phones plugged snugly into their ears. what's more they are just little boys, spending big bucks on superbrands like apple and oakleys. A once unusual sight to see an ordinary person having the distinct white earbuds in his ears just some years ago, is now a normality.

As steve jobs spoke on the newsweek, that such a phenomenon is appearing all over the world. From china to canada, all sorts of people are taking to the style and groove of the zen mp3 player that has just reccently been wildly publicised.

In VS alone, there are not less than 8 ppl with ipods and more than 15 with oakleys. And the numbers are increasing. Owning one of these brands has even become a dream to some, having seen others having theirs - even when they can hardly afford it. Soon these superbrands, once a means of boosting personal status: will become nothing but another Reebok or Puma.
